Cupcake vs. Man Conundrum
Office small talk gone wrong. There were left-over birthday cupcakes in the office. I walked over grab a couple and shared with ladies on my return to my desk that there were some goodies around the corner. One co-worker vehemently protested the cupcakes. The journey is hard and long.
The journey is hard and long. It doesn’t get easier or shorter by staying where you are. Get up. Keep moving. You’ll be glad you did. ~ LaShawnda Jones

Because I am here
Just for that

Homeless Female Veterans: A former Army captain opened a house for homeless women veterans. “We are still not getting it as a country, and we’re making a poor effort as a society to take care of all our veterans…We can liberate other countries and clear up their natural disasters. Women veterans are now America’s natural disaster,” says Final Salute founder Jaspen Boothe.
